This list of black stationery designers and black-owned print shops was initially compiled for a follower who asked me for recommendations as she takes the 15 percent pledge to intentionally include black-owned businesses in her shopping. I’m sharing it here too (and will continue to update it as a live document) because I think it’s imperative that we continue to share and support black-owned businesses well beyond this week, especially in graphic design, where only 3% of the industry is black (according to this 2019 design census).
